Hi Everyone,
It is Five for Friday.
1. Finished Work
I was pretty proud of how my students did this week with the content we were able to get to. I am really looking forward to next week when we have more time for classroom learning and creating. Here is a little bit of what we did get to.
Because of that day my classes were cancelled I had a lot of work my students were unable to get to this week. Sad, but there is always next week, and the week after. :P Determined to fit it all in.
These are some of the Long Aa activities we got to this week. It was new and awkward for us at first but I think they are getting the hang of the CVCe words. We shall see how they do next week with Long Ii.
I was hesitant about these new crowns, but the kids loved the new design. It seemed to go well.
Started sketching out what I'd need for next week. Already I can tell I've over planned.
Here are some goodies I hope to write about pretty soon.
That's all folks.
Have a great weekend.
Don't forget to check out all the other bloggers on Doodlebugs Five for Friday Linky.
Love Gail Gibbons for teaching non-fiction! My 2nd graders were just marveling over her monarch butterfly book yesterday! I love your Instagram slide show too!

Jennifer, I couldn't agree with you more about Gail Gibbons. I have this one, used from seed to plant with my Firsties, and have the recycle one for Earth day!
DeleteThe slide show is a widget. If you click on it you can get one for your blog too. :)
Have a great weekend!

ReplyDeleteMy dear, sweet friend. You made my night with your comment. I think the same of you and wouldn't it be awesome if I could see you in action too! So creative. 😊
