So I missed the 5 for Friday, but maybe 6 on Saturday? LOL, ah well I think I can still link up with Doodlebugs Teacher so here I go.
on Saturday.
1. Finally got around to playing with the panorama option on my iPhone today. Check out these shots of my room.
2. I am loving these new poetry books I found in my school library. My 1st graders are now studying poetry during writing and these are the perfect addition to our lessons.
3. I am excited about my new Read, write and stamp the room center. The kids will use the stashes, lips and 3D glasses to read the room. The mini clipboards are for writing the words they find. Then they will stamp the words on sheets found in the folder. It will make it's debut next week.
4. Finally got all my blends and digraphs up!
Finally...
5. I am so proud of my students MLK drawings. They are sooo cute.
I just posted mine today too! I need to figure out how to do those panorama photos. Pretty neat!

The panorama pics are awesome! How the heck did you do that? Is it an app? :) And I love your room- too cute! :)

Thanks! Not a new app, just on my camera app. You have to click on option and then the panorama button will show up. It won't work on the older phones because of the older operating systems but I think all iPhone 4, 4s and 5's have them.

That panoramic option is sweet! I feel like there are so many things I am unaware of on the Iphone and Ipad. I was not an Apple user until recently so I am missing out!
ReplyDelete*Those lips and 'staches are great for your center! LOVE!

Thanks Megan! I knew about the panorama, but I almost never use it. I think I have used it less than 10 time and it is such a cool function. I will have to try and use it more.
DeleteOh the kids adore the lips and stashes. The 3D glasses are a new addition. Let's see if they are as popular as the other props. :)

Your blends and digraphs wall looks amazing!
ReplyDeleteRowdy in First Grade
Thank you! I had them printed up and laminated before the holiday break. It has taken me this long to get them cut out and put up on the wall. I couldn't decide the best place for them. I decided near the word wall would be the best place. :)

Wow, what a huge difference between regular snaps of your classroom compared to the panoramics! You can really get a better sense of what the classroom looks like as a whole. I can't wait to get into my classroom tomorrow and take some before shots (Western Australia) using the panoramic function on my iphone. I thought it was only on the iphone 5's until I looked on my phone (4s), must have come with the update a month or so ago!
