Parkers Prints

A few weeks ago I came upon a wonderful blog called Parkers Prints.
Being a bit crafty myself, or at least I like to think so, I just fell in love with her site. Just look at some of her beautiful work.
Ok I can go on forever, so I will stop & let you take a look around yourself.

The more I read the more I just felt I had to order one of her darling banners. So I asked if she made "Teacher Banners" like a dummy. Stephanie said she hadn't but was ready to try it out. I say I am a dummy because I knew very well I did not want school houses, pencils or anything school related. I just KNEW I wanted the...
LADYBUGS!

I decided that I wanted a vertical banner with K/1 ELL on ladies. Because my school is using a Wild animals theme next year I went with a zebra ribbon. I think it looks beautiful.
Here is how it turned out.

I currently have it against my white board because I want it away from sticky little fingers and am looking for a permanent home for it.

I can just imagine all the wonderful banners I could use in my class, how about the seasons? Or some theme banners? I think that the next one I purchase will be a horizontal banner because I am just loving the little heart's on the ribbons.

I have to say that Stephanie was a pleasure to work with, as are many of you here in blog land. So if your looking for a banner for any occasion be it special or everyday, head on over to

  3. I am inspired!!! I am thinking about making one with my name on it to hang outside my classroom door. Heck I might even make one for each teacher on my team. Great idea!!
