Being an ELL teacher I thought this was apropos.
I want to start by saying a quick thanks to my readers. For those of you that I know personally to those of you I've never had a chance to chat with and all those in between. Thanks for coming back day after day to read my crazy tales and ramblings.
For 4 days now, I've been watching and waiting for today to post what I am thankful for. So here goes...
What are you thankful for in your classroom?
Obviously I am thankful for my students, it's true, I've been telling them since last week! I enjoy going in to work every day and watching them learn and grow. I am thankful for my two wonderful team mates without which I would go nuts. With that said I am SUPER grateful for my district provided MacBook. I especially love my purple Speck see-thru satin case. With out this baby I'd be lost.
What 3 blogs are you most thankful for?
This is HARD because there are so many wonderful blogs out there. 3 doesn't really cover it. However, if I have to chose just 3 these are the ones.
HOWEVER, I think these blogs deserve an honorable mention because I love them too! In no particular order...
What guilty pleasure are you most thankful for?
Well, you see I was going to post all the books I am reading. I LOVE reading, but if this is "guilty" pleasures I have to say it would be Glee. I could really care less about the story line, what I REALLY love is the numbers. Even though sometime I think they leave a lot to be desired, I come back week after week to hear what they are doing next. :P
What are you most thankful for?
-First, I am thankful for my health. I am grateful to my friend who introduced me to my ridiculous -I am thankful for my job, which I enjoy every day.
-I am thankful for all you wonderful bloggers out there that inspire me and so many others.
-I am thankful for my books, my series, Harry Dresden (which I am currently on), Alpha and Omega, Mercy Thompson. Wait there is more, the latest one, which hasn't been read yet, but I can't wait for is the Mortal Instruments and Infernal Devices. All of which I grab any moment I am not reading your blogs or making lesson plan templates. With out my book I think I would go insane.
I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving and don't eat too much!
Mrs. M-
ReplyDeleteI love reading your blog even though I don't teach K anymore-moved on up to 6th! :)
I have to say one of my guilty pleasures that I'm thankful for is watching Law and Order-SVU. I have even been known to watch their "marathon"!! Tee-hee!
Hope you had a great Thanksgiving!

Aww, Shannon, thank you. :) I love watching rerun marathons. Isn't it funny how we do that. It is like owning a movie and never watching it but when it comes on TV you get excited and watch it all over again.
ReplyDeleteHope you had a great TG too.

Glee is my guilty pleasure too! I am not as fond of it this season but I LOVED the first season, primarily because of the numbers like you said. Thank you so much for the shout out...I am extremely thankful to have a bloggy friend like you!
