I know that many other Bloggers out there have been posting about TBA, Teaching Blog Addicts. Yes, I am going to post about it too, I am a card carrying member of course.
It is just over a year now that I discovered Teaching Blogs. When I first started I had them book marked and used to visit daily. What a task that was. I then learned to subscribe through Blogger and got enough courage to started my own blog. What a wonderful creative outlet it has been for me. I can't begin to explain how much you all encourage me to create.
However, after some time I began following so many blogs that it began to consume my day. There was just no way to read every post and still have time to brush my teeth and eat. I was following over 100 blogs at the time. In came Tamara and TBA. In her I found that I was not a lone, that there were MANY others out there like me who are addicted to others teacher blogs. TBA became a sort of hub for teachers to share and collaborate. By helping teachers come together in one place to promote and aid each other she created a new kind of community. A place where the writers and readers are life long educators and learners.
BTW, I now follow over 200 blogs and I still struggle to find time to read them all. I've decided to skip sleeping. What do you think?
I am proud to be an author and follower.
If you have not had a chance to stop by there please do.
It is one of a kind.

Great post!!!I love TBA!
ReplyDeleteYou had me laughing! I remember when I about fainted during TBA's first day on the web when you emailed me the number of blogs you followed. I never thought 100 was possible before and then you doubled it. LOL
